1/24 scale models
“EVERY DAY I GET IN THE QUEUE…”
Adding to Revell’s array of music-themed road vehicle kits, this re-issue of the Volkswagen T1 delivery van features a striking ‘The Magic Bus’ livery celebrating British band The Who.
TRIBUTE RACER
Ford partnered with the Chip Ganassi racing team to operate four of its GTs in the FIA World Endurance Championship between 2016-19, and modellers with Revell’s 1/24 kit can replicate the team’s entries using Decalpool’s aftermarket sets.
OFF-ROAD TRACTION
Suggested for use with 1/24 Ford Escort Mk.1 kits – particularly Belkits’ recent rally car offerings – these Motobitz Minilites would also be suitable for a range of same-scale 1960s-70s saloon and GT car kits.
GEAR FOR EMIL
While most of Airfix’s 1/24 Bf 109E still looks good despite its age, its one main shortfall (common to all the early ‘Super Kits’) is the use of vinyl tyres for the mainwheels.

HOLLYWOOD MUSCLE CARS
Are you a film fan and car modeller? If so, check out CHRIS CLIFFORD's focus on Revell's Fast & Furious branded kits in 1/24 and 1/25 scales.
CLASSIC BUS
Having started with the VW T1 Samba and subsequently released cargo and Kombi versions, Revell has come full circle with the original T1 Microbus, recognisable via its 11-window configuration.
SUPERCAR, SUPER KIT!
Usually more at home building flying machines, Alan Price tackles Tamiya’s 1/24 McLaren Senna hypercar – whose wings are meant to keep it firmly on the ground!
LARGE-SCALE ‘EMIL’
Arguably, Airfix revolutionised large-scale modelling with its 1/24 ‘Super Kits’; its Bf 109E was one of the last of the initial batch released between 1970-73, making it a logical inclusion in the firm’s Vintage Classics series.
LOTS OF TROUBLE, USUALLY SERIOUS
EXTRA IMAGES INSIDE: Tamiya’s 1/24 Lotus Europa has returned with a newly tooled runner containing RS Watanabe wheels (similar to Minilites) and optional rear wing – both were popularised in Japan by The Circuit Wolf manga.
