2023 New Model Guide: Narrow gauge

The world of narrow gauge modelling has expanded rapidly over the past 18 months with the arrival of significant locomotive models from Bachmann and Peco. MIKE WILD surveys the new models planned for the future.

When Bachmann released its first ‘OO9’ narrow gauge ready-to-run model of the Baldwin 10-12-D 4-6-0T in 2018, I don’t think anyone could have imagined how popular narrow gauge modelling would become, and particularly since 2021s arrival of the Double Fairlie 0-4-4-0T from the same manufacturer.
