ACCURASCALE has revealed decorated samples of its second batch of 'OO' gauge Class 37s with a selection of locomotives including original centre headcode machines in BR green and blue together with another tranche of modern liveried locomotives.
There are nine locomotives in the second production, including the Heavy Tractor Group's limited edition of preserved Class 37/7 37714. Improvements have already been identified on the decoration samples including correction of the buffer shank colours, correct kickplates, black surrounds to the marker lights on 37140 and 37258 and more.
The locomotives in batch two from Accurascale are D6600 in BR green with small yellow warning panels, D6956 in BR green with full yellow ends and D6992 in BR blue with full yellow ends with buffer beam cowls and they will be joined by 37140 in BR blue with cutaway buffer beams, 37258 in BR Dutch grey and yellow, 37116 in Colas Rail Freight colours, 37218 in DRS blue with WIPAC light clusters, 37422 Victorious in unbranded DRS blue and finally 37405 in HNRail orange.
Each locomotive will have correct parts for its era as well as sprung buffers, separately fitted handrails throughout, finely detailed bogies with chains, turned metal wheels, NEM coupling pockets, a magnetic removable roof panel for easy access to the 21-pin DCC decoder and speakers, plus a full suite of operational lighting functions.
Prices for the 'OO' gauge locomotives are set at £169.99 DCC ready and £259.99 and they are available to pre-order at Accurascale stockists.
