Accurascale's Pilot Scheme Class 37/0s Arrive

Accurascale has expanded its new ‘OO’ Class 37 range with a collection of new original condition scheme examples to complete the first wave of releases on the English Electric Type 3. BEN CHURCH takes a closer look.

These latest Class 37/0 arrivals cover the first few of the class, which were built in the early 1960s at English Electric’s Vulcan foundry in Newton Le Willows with unique features.

For review we received pioneer D6700 in BR plain green, which has been produced as a Locomotion Models limited edition (Cat No. ACC2300-D6700), together with D6702 in BR green with small yellow panels (ACC2302-D6702), D6703 First East Anglian Regiment in BR green with small yellow panels (ACC2301-D6703DCC) and D6704 in BR green with full yellow ends (ACC2303-D6704DCC).
