Having broken new ground with its previous 1/43 car kits, Airfix has now released a McLaren 765LT as a Starter Set, as CHRIS CLIFFORD reports.
I’m confident that many an eyebrow was raised when Airfix first announced it was to produce new-tool 1/43 cars – this scale traditionally being the preserve of boutique mixed-media kits and collectors’ die-cast models.
