Arma Hobby's stunning new Airacobra arrives!

Polish model manufacturer Arma Hobby has just released a newly tooled 1/72 P-39Q Airacobra and it’s a miniature gem, as STU FONE reveals.

The P-39 Airacobra is well-represented by manufacturers in 1/72, but this new offering from Arma Hobby continues the firm’s excellent release record, with its new kit (70055) being easily the best of the type in the scale. The finely moulded parts are presented on three styrene runners, including one for the transparent components, and the detail is exquisite. Exterior surfaces benefit from delicate recessed panel lines and rivets/fasteners and all parts are flash-free and devoid of sink marks.

Above: External surfaces exhibit such fine engraved panel line and fastener/rivet detail that one would the thinking this came from one of the larger model manufacturers, such as Eduard or Tamiya, while the nose cut-out allows for different cannon fairing sections.
