NARROW GAUGE modellers will be delighted to see the first 2-4-0STT version of the Bachmann ‘OO9’ gauge Mainline Hunslet arrive. This first release is available exclusively to Bachmann Collectors Club members and here you can find out more about this exciting new release.
The Mainline Hunslets first arrived in the Bachmann narrow gauge range in December 2022 (HM187) modelling the locomotives in original condition. Two were later bought by the Ffestiniog Railway in North Wales – Linda and Blanche – and were rebuilt first as 0-4-0STTs and then as 2-4-0STTs. The 0-4-0STT version is available from Bachmann retailers now, but this model of Linda is the first to model them in their most commonly recognised 2-4-0STT format.
