Stu Fone examines the recent Mandalorian Razor Crest kit from Bandai, imported to Europe on a select basis via Revell.

If Revell’s 1/72 Razor Crest is too big for your display case, then this smaller Bandai version (01213) – released by Revell under a licensing agreement with Disney – could be ideal. In line with other kits in the Bandai Spirits range, no scale is listed (although Revell classifies it as 1/220), making it more akin to the old ‘box-scale’ kits… but that’s where any similarity disappears. All parts, presented on three styrene runners, are moulded beautifully and are positively brimming with detail. Two frames come in a metallic sheen and are intended to replicate the Razor Crest’s colour; parts count is low (there are just 20) and the model can only be built in flying mode.
