South Korean carmaker Hyundai returned to the World Rally Championship in 2014, running a specially prepared version of its i20 supermini – it would utilise three distinct models in four years, culminating with the i20 Coupe WRC (effectively replacing the original i20) first introduced 2017. This is the version Belkits has chosen for its new kit release (BEL-014).

Hyundai used the i20 Coupe between 2017 and 2020; across this period chronologically, the team achieved two second-place finishes in the manufacturer’s championship, followed by two wins. There’s clearly an element of patriotism with this first boxing as it provides for the #11 as driven by a Belgian pairing – Thierry Neuville with Nicolas Gilsoul, who won the 2019 edition of the Tour de Corse (Rally of Corsica).
