Italeri has re-released its venerable 1/35 Panzerjäger kit which, despite its age, is a viable and wallet-friendly option says CHRIS CLIFFORD.

Open-topped armour is great fun as it offers more visible detail than standard tanks. If you like early-war vehicles, the Panzerjäger I with 4.7cm PaK (t) gun is an interesting choice, the best 1/35 kit being Dragon’s 6230. But it’s now out of production and holds its price well on auction sites (around the £50 mark)… if you can find one.
