Using Woodland Scenics Road System products and a Wills Modern level crossing, MIKE WILD shows how we added a realistic road scene to West Coast Cement.

VW T5 waits at the barriers for the Class 56 and 37 to cross. The road surface has been made with Woodland Scenics Road System products and lined with its striping pens.

WOODLAND SCENICS’ range of modelling products is a mine of potential. We’ve been regular users of its ground cover and foliage products, but until now we hadn’t used its Road System range. However, the desire to introduce a realistic road scene as part of our new West Coast Cement ‘OO’ gauge exhibition layout prompted us to make good use of these products.
