A new range of two, three and four-aspect colour light signal kits has been introduced by Routemex for 'O' gauge. MIKE WILD explores how they are built.

SIGNALS HAVE A big impact on the appearance of a model railway. They add reality, a place to stop and action too. Semaphores are arguably the most attractive to add, but it shouldn't be forgotten that colour light signals have been around since the 1920s.
