Cavalex adds DCR Rail Freight ‘Grid’
Cavalex Models has added a DCR Rail Freight liveried ‘Grid’ to the release schedule for its all-new ‘OO’ gauge Class 56.
Finished as 56091 Driver Wayne Gaskell in DCR Rail Freight grey (Cat No. CM-56091-DCR), this latest addition brings the total of newly-tooled Class 56 models planned to 14. This particular model will feature cutaway bufferbeam, diamond mesh side grilles, cantrail and roof grilles, steel cab and side window frames together with additional air-conditioning vent on the second man’s side.
Cavalex Models’ newly-tooled models will also incorporate a die-cast chassis, five-pole motor, twin flywheels, slow speed gearing, all-wheel pick-up, 21-pin Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder socket, separate motor-controlled working roof fans and a wealth of separately applied detailing.
Available DCC-ready and DCC sound-fitted, prices and a delivery date have yet to be confirmed, although pre-orders are now being accepted at Cavalex Models stockists.
