Cavalex updates TEA
Cavalex Models has received updated samples of its new 'OO' gauge Standard Wagon TEA 102tonne tankers showcasing the latest modifications to the tooling.
The Standard Wagon TEAs were built in the 1980s for Total Oil in two batches and were originally fitted with Gloucester GPS 25 bogies.
Updates include correct details to model two versions of the TEA - as built and in present day condition - including variations to the end cap pipe work, end plates on the chassis and hazardous information board on the side of the wagon.
Cavalex will be offering the TEA in original Total grey, modern grey livery as well as modelling wagons converted to KBA barrier wagons for the movement of London Underground stock. Prices start from £42.50 for single vehicles with pre-orders being taken now.
