Decorated samples of Hornby’s newly-tooled ‘TT:120’ Class 50 Co-Co diesels have arrived with the manufacturer for evaluation by the development team.
Three ‘TT:120’ Class 50 models are set to appear in the range from Hornby next year finished as 50007 Sir Edward Elgar in GW150 lined green (Cat No. TT3013M), 50040 Leviathan in BR large logo blue (TT3014M) and 50049 Defiance in GB Railfreight (GBRf) orange and blue.
Each is set to feature a high-quality motor, Next18 Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder socket, directional lighting, separately fitted handrails and grab handles, pipework, flush glazing, roof grilles, windscreen wipers and buffer beam detailing.
Priced at £167.99 each (DCC ready), release is currently slated for Spring 2024.
