Decorated samples of Dapol's new London & South Western Railway (LSWR) ‘M7’ 0-4-4T in ‘N’ gauge have been received and are currently under review.
Planned liveries include Southern lined green, LSWR lined green, BR lined malachite green, BR lined black and BR early and late crest lined black.
These new models feature a die-cast chassis, three-pole motor and wheels with keyed axles to prevent quartering slippage. The locomotive's onboard PCB has also been designed so it can be replaced with a micro decoder, if required, although DCC-fitted models are being produced.
Priced at £97.95 for DC models and £135.45 for DCC-fitted models, release is expected in early 2023.
