Dapol Class 59 edges closer

Dapol has unveiled new production samples for its upcoming Class 59 for ‘N’ gauge.


The models will feature a comprehensive tooling suite that caters for 59/0, 59/1 and 59/2 sub-types. The models also feature a five-pole motor, all-wheel pick-up and drive, day and night lights, die-cast chassis, NEM ‘N’ gauge couplings and more.


Dapol's new 'N' gauge models are set to appear as 59005 Kenneth J Painter in Foster Yeoman silver, 59103 Village of Mells in ARC yellow and grey, 59206 John F Yeoman in DB Schenker red, 59204 in National Power blue, 59104 Village of Great Elm in Hanson blue and grey, 59001 Yeoman Endeavour in Aggregate Industries livery and 59201 Vale of York in EWS livery.


Priced at £172.80 DCC ready, £205.20 DCC fitted and £291.60 DCC sound fitted, the new Dapol 'N' gauge Class 59 models are in the final stages of production and are slated for a release during March 2024.
