Dapol reviews limited edition Class 66 artwork

Dapol has received artwork for its next batch of ‘N’ gauge Class 66 Co-Co diesels for assessment.

Five ‘N' gauge Class 66s are planned including Dapol’s online exclusive model of 66731 Capt. Tom Moore in GB Railfreight's (GBRf) Thank You NHS colour scheme (Cat No. 2D-007-012) and a Gaugemaster exclusive of 66773 Pride of GB Railfreight in GBRf ‘Rainbow’ livery (GM2210103).

The remaining three models due to appear are 66413 Lest We Forget in Freightliner orange (2D-007-013/D), 66780 The Cemex Express in GBRf Cemex livery (2D-007-014/D) and 66405 in DRS Malcolm Logistics colours (2D-007-015/D).

Each will feature a Next18 DCC decoder socket, etched metal grilles, separately fitted handrails, independent directional lighting and optional accessories.

Prices are set at £110 for DCC ready and £140 for DCC fitted standard models, while the DCC ready Gaugemaster exclusive is priced at £119.95. Please note that pre-orders for Dapol’s exclusive model of 66731 Capt. Tom Moore have now closed.
