IF you are going to model a Great Western Railway branch line, then you really need one of Collett’s ‘14XX’ 0-4-2Ts. Better still they make way for one of the shortest steam-powered passenger trains you can run – perfect for those restricted for space and working in ‘O’ gauge.
Dapol has identified the need for small locomotives in ‘O’ gauge with its back catalogue including the LBSCR ‘Terrier’ 0-6-0T, Class 08 diesel shunter, LMS ‘Jinty’ 0-6-0T and GWR ‘57XX’ and ‘8750’ 0-6-0PTs. The delightful Collett 0-4-2T is the perfect addition to its collection and one that we are sure many 7mm scale modellers have been itching to get their hands on. We certainly have!
