Having delighted modellers of largescale Tornados with its anniversary schemes (see Decal Reviews, May 2019), Euro Decals has released a set for Revell’s 1/72 offering. Three airframes commemorate the centenary of that unit’s formation (12, XV and 41 Squadrons), while the 617 Squadron example represents its 70th anniversary. The final airframe depicts a 31 Squadron ‘line jet’, as it appeared during Operation Ellamy in 2011, with basic insignia and large tail number. All decals are printed beautifully, with sharp demarcation lines and perfect register, notably the large unit artwork on the anniversary airframes and the 41 Test and Evaluation Squadron emblem.
