Drawing on Direct Rail Services’ often eclectic fleet, RYAN GRAY of Cupar & District MRC created this ‘OO’ gauge depot scene which offers immense variety in its operation and fleet.

EDEN representation Maintenance ROAD TMD Depot of a is Traction a set loosely between the early 2000s and the present day to allow a range of motive power to be used. The depot is operated by Direct Rail Services (DRS) to service its fleet of locomotives. Visiting traction from other UK operators such as GB Railfreight, West Coast Railways, Freightliner, Colas and DB Cargo can also be seen along with stabled coaching stock.

The layout contains a two-road locomotive shed, a smaller shed, refuelling point, wash plant and some storage sidings for basic maintenance. A fenced compound is used for storage of FNA nuclear flask carriers between movements.
