Eduard now offers a bunch of aftermarket extras for its new 1/48 Zlín Z-226 Trener kits.
The recent 1/48 Zlín Z-226 Trener releases from Eduard offer the chance to build an unusual and interesting subject. This two-seat trainer built in Czechoslovakia has been provided in Limited Edition Dual Combo, and ProfiPACK boxings. Now, the firm has released dedicated accessories with which to enliven the styrene parts.
Set 648679 provides crisply cast replacement resin mainwheels and a tailwheel for £3.69. Just remove them from the casting blocks, neaten, and they’re ready for painting. Tape masks are included.
FE1219 (£4.96) is a photo-etched (PE) metal fret of pre-painted harnesses for both seats, and a full set of canopy and wheel masks comes via item EX805.
For additional cockpit detail there are two options: the LööK Set 644120 (£6.38) offers pre-coloured 3D-printed instrument panels, along with the PE seatbelts from FE1219. Alternatively, you can plump for the spACE package 3DL48045 (£6.38), which provides the same PE seatbelts, but also 3D textured decals to replicate the instrument panels, sidewall map holders and wing fuel filler caps.
Finally, extra stencils are afforded by the decal sheet D48092 (£2.69).
