Factory decorated AL6s
Heljan has received factory decorated samples of its new 'OO' gauge model of the Class 86/0 in BR blue liveries. The all-new model of the West Coast Main Line overhead Bo-Bo is due to be released in late 2020 and priced at £189.95 per locomotive (£199.95 for weathered versions).
The new Class 86 (AL6) from Heljan models the class in the 1965-1980 period and will be offered with seven identities covering original BR electric blue with white cab roofs, BR electric blue with small yellow panels and standard BR corporate blue.
Features include LED lighting, a 21-pin decoder socket, retooled bodies and a new finer scale Faively pantograph. All-wheel drive will be employed from a centrally mounted five-pole motor.

Locomotive planned for release are E3104 in BR electric blue with lion and wheel emblems (Cat No. 8650), E3114 in BR electric blue with lion and wheel emblems plus small yellow warning panels (8651), E3178 in BR electric blue with full yellow ends (8652), E3146 in BR blue with full yellow ends and a white cab roof (8653), E3134 in BR blue with full yellow ends (8654), 86036 in BR blue with full yellow ends and an orange cantrail stripe (8655) and 86034 in BR blue with full yellow ends and a weathered finish (8656).
