On Saturday September 9, the organisation welcomed its 60,000th visitor when Joe Masters and his family arrived to view the permanent displays at the site. In celebration, he was awarded a commemorative certificate and a gift voucher to spend in the shop by the charity's chairman, Adrian Maynard.
Located alongside Markeaton Park’s main car park, Famous Trains is open to the public every Saturday, Sunday and Monday between 11am and 4pm. Admission is £3 for adults, £1.50 for children and £6 for families.
