FRESH PRODUCE TRANSPORT BY MINIART
Having already issued several iterations of the 1/35 Mercedes Typ 170V, MiniArt has now reworked the kit into a splendid Lieferwagen Fruit Delivery Van, due soon.
This will be MiniArt’s ninth product based on its original Typ 170V Personenwagen from 2012. Since then, the company has ‘morphed’ its tooling to portray military staff cars and saloons, civilian and commercial vehicles.
Now we can look forward to this fresh version, the Fruit Delivery Van (kit 38044). It’s a beautiful rendition that offers three suggested liveries from the 1940s-50s, and would work well as an individual display piece or as part of a diorama. All the doors can be positioned open or closed, there is an extensive array of photo-etched brass details, and 12 boxes with various fruits.
This is a delightful addition to the range, with a multitude of applications for scenic modellers, especially those with plenty of imagination. The price has yet to be announced, but MiniArt kits are distributed in the UK by Creative Models: www.creativemodels.co.uk
