New layouts revealed for GETS 2023

Five new layouts have been revealed for the 2023 Great Electric Train Show as Accurascale and West Hill Wagon Works join as sponsors.

Five new layouts have been revealed for the 2023 Great Electric Train Show on October 14/15 covering steam and diesel subjects across ‘N’, 'OO' and ‘OO9’ gauges.

The latest layout announcements are joined by the news that the 2023 10th anniversary event will be sponsored by Accurascale and West Hill Wagon Works with the regular supporters of the Great Electric Train Show increasing their support of the two-day exhibition.

New layouts revealed for the show are Greg Marshall’s Southern Region modern image ‘OO’ layout Gordon’s Lane (HM181), Ian Woodward’s 1970s era ‘OO’ gauge layout Wardwood (HM189), young modeller Oscar Robson’s ‘N’ gauge Fordon Hill Railway, Steve Wright’s magnificent multi-scene ‘N’ gauge layout James Street and Andy Hooper’s ‘OO9’ Lemanis Light Railway.

These new additions join Pete Waterman’s Making Tracks 3 layout in its never-seen-before 152ft form combined with Making Tracks 1 and 2 specially for the Great Electric Train Show, Hornby Magazine’s new diesel depot layout Natford TMD (HM190 and pages 48-53), Burntisland 1883 from the East of Scotland 4mm Group (HM190) and Neil Woodbine’s Rosebury Goods (HM179).

Discounted advance tickets for the 2023 Great Electric Train Show are on sale now – offering early entry from 9.30am - from shop.keypublishing.com with prices set at £15 for adults, (£12 subscribers) and £8 for children (Saturday only) – kids go free on Sunday, up to two permitted per paying adult. In addition, VIP tickets are on sale which include two-day entry to the show, £25 of Key Publishing model and railway publications, early entry to the show each day at 9.30am, access to a VIP lounge and more.
