Manufactured by Rapido Trains of Canada, the new ‘N’ gauge models will be produced in nine-car and 11-car formations, covering original Virgin Trains to the latest Avanti West Coast colour schemes. Nine-car options include 390049 Virgin Express in original Virgin Trains livery (Cat No. 2000E), 390010 Cumbrian Spirit in Virgin flowing silk livery (2000F), 390045 Virgin Pride in Virgin rainbow silk livery (2000G), 390047 in part-branded Avanti livery (2000H) and 390001 Bee Together in DfT ‘ghost’ livery (2000J). 11-car models include 390152 in original Virgin Trains livery (2001F), 390107 in Virgin flowing silk livery (2001G) and 390156 Pride and Prosperity in full Avanti West Coast livery (2001H).

The specification will remain unchanged from the original batch of models (as will the initial price) and will feature motorised driving trailers, Next18 Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder socket, factory-fitted speaker, directional lighting, illuminated table lamps in first class and more.

Early-bird prices will be held at £345 for nine-car sets and £365 for 11-car Pendolinos ordered before December 31 2020, when the price is expected to rise. Delivery is anticipated during Summer 2021.
