Grub Lane will be running industrial steam for the era 1956-1962 at the 2022 Great Electric Train Show.

This compact layout is a versatile little steam shed that is portrayed in a very run down condition. It was designed as a space saving layout without any points or signaling. The movement of engines and stock from one track to another is achieved by a home made traverser.

When it was originally built the layout was meant to show that anyone can model in ‘O’ gauge in a relatively small space and we are looking forward to showcasing this layout at the Great Electric Train Show to explain how rewarding compact ‘O’ gauge layouts can be.
