Hattons has confirmed plans to produce a new batch of its popular ‘OO’ gauge Hattons Originals Beilhack snowploughs.
For this next tranche of releases, two twin packs are to be produced containing snowploughs ADB965580 and ADB965581 in BR yellow or Network Rail black, reflecting the pair’s career from introduction to the present day.
In BR yellow, they will represent the pair whilst stabled at Carlisle (1990-1995/6) and Crewe (1996-early 2000s) for emergency use on the West Coast Main Line. They were subsequently refurbished by Railtrack in the early 2000s.
The second pairing will model the ‘ploughs in present-day condition in Network Rail livery, currently based at Doncaster for patrolling the East Coast Main Line.
Prices are set at £70 per twin snowplough pack. Release is expected during the second quarter of 2024.
