Heljan re-runs 'O' gauge '50'
Heljan has announced a new batch of its highly popular 'O' gauge Class 50s including three new choices on the most sought-after 'large logo' blue scheme.
Six new locomotives are on the way for release in mid-2021 with prices set at £699 for pristine versions and £729 for factory weathered models. The new batch will have the same specification as the first encompassing twin motors, a DCC friendly main PCB, directional lighting, working roof fan, full bufferbeam detail, sprung buffers and more.
The new general releases cover unnumbered versions in BR blue (Cat No. 4020), BR 'large logo' blue with a grey roof (4021), BR 'large logo' blue with a black roof (4029) and revised Network SouthEast with light blue (4032). In addition there will be two numbered and weathered editions as 50036 Victorious in 'large logo' blue with grey roof and red bufferbeams (4030) together with 50019 Ramillies in weathered departmental blue (4033).
Joining the factory releases are limited editions commissioned by KMS Railtech of the pair of GBRf Class 50s for 'O' gauge covering a re-run of 50049 Defiance plus modelling of the split identity 50007 Hercules/50014 Warspite in matching GBRf blue and orange.
