THIRD BUFFALO REISSUE FROM HOBBY 2000

The re-boxing specialist has again chosen Hasegawa’s 1/72 Brewster Buffalo for another outing, this time portraying US Navy F2A-1/2 sub-types, as CHRIS CLIFFORD explains.

THIRD BUFFALO REISSUE FROM HOBBY 2000

Hobby 2000 has based its entire working ethos on employing the parts of different manufacturers. Twice before it reissued Hasegawa’s 1/72 Brewster Buffalo, with markings for RAF and Finnish Air Force machines. Now, selected runners from Hasegawa’s previous F2A-1/2 kits are now offered via Hobby 2000 item 72064. This provides alternative engine cowling and propeller formats, along with a fresh decal sheet carrying markings for three US Navy airframes in different schemes.
