‘Coronation Scot’ coach EPs surface

Hornby has received first Engineering Prototype (EP) samples of its new ‘OO’ gauge LMS ‘Coronation Scot’ coaches (HM155) for assessment by the company’s development team.

The three models received include the Stanier 50ft Restaurant Kitchen car (Cat No. 4963/A), Stanier 57ft Restaurant Open Third (R4965/A/B) and Stanier 65ft Restaurant Open First (R4964). These vehicles will be joined by a Stanier 57ft Corridor First (R4962), Stanier 57ft Brake Corridor First (R4961) and Stanier 57ft Brake Corridor Third (R4960) to complete a full nine-car ‘Coronation Scot’ formation in LMS Caledonian blue. 

Priced at £47.99 each, delivery is expected during Spring 2021.
