ICM 1/35 Taxi de la Marne (1914)

In 1898, Louis Renault successfully drove the first car he had built up the steepest road in Paris, Rue Lepic in Montmartre, a feat that led to him receiving his first orders and the birth of the famous car company.

Renault quickly proved it was a force to be reckoned with, as Ferenc Szisz won the first French Grand Prix in 1902 driving a Renault AK. This race was completely different to modern events, as it covered 1,238.16km and the winning time was 12 hours and 15 minutes.
