Having previously built Airfix’s 1/72 Vampire T.11 straight from the box, Alan Price employs the recent re-release to produce a Swedish J 28C version, with aftermarket extras

Much surgery was required to the wings; first the ailerons were removed, to allow CMK’s resin replacements to be fitted.

Airfix’s Vampire T.11 was first released in 2013, and rightly received much praise as it was easy to assemble, well detailed and offered colourful markings options – what was there not to like? It has since been re-boxed with a choice of RAF and Swedish Air Force schemes, but otherwise the contents are unchanged.
