When Airfix released its newly tooled Hunter F.6 in 2019, it received a warm welcome from modellers, and its ‘straight-winged’ F.4 will be equally popular. At last, fans of the famous Hunter have high-quality, mid-scale versions of this iconic jet. The firm has added two styrene runners to its earlier release, so it can depict the F.4 variant, capturing the primary differences between the two versions accurately, namely the smaller engine and straight-edged wing (without the F.6 ‘dog-tooth’ leading edge). These changes are supplied on two additional runners, although the remaining parts are the same as for the initial release.
