This Italian classic in 1/72 scale receives new markings, ten years after its last outing, as CHRIS CLIFFORD reveals.
In 2013 Italeri re-released Supermodel’s 1/72 styrene Fiat CR.32 Freccia (Arrow), first tooled in 1973. The kit was labelled Historic Upgrade Series, which meant Italeri had reworked some of the components, adding improvements in several areas. Much of that product has now returned in fresh packaging and with stunning new decals for five different airframes, as item 1438. Besides lovely new artwork, the box front is adorned with classy centenary branding – the kit marking 100 years of the Aeronautica Militare (Italian Air Force).
