Five Class 158 DMUs from the Wales and Borders fleet – 158819/821/825/827/841 – were branded with promotional artwork for Cornwall-based Ginsters in 2003 and operated throughout the franchise’s network to destinations including Birmingham, Manchester, Penzance and Portsmouth. The mainly black and yellow vinyl wrapped scheme featured images of Cornwall as well as Ginsters logos which were applied on the bodysides and roof of each vehicle. The wraps were removed in early 2007.

KMRC’s latest exclusive ‘OO’ gauge Class 158 models 158827, formed with vehicles 52827 and 57827 in the eye-catching livery with destination blinds displaying Bristol Temple Meads.
