2022 marks Kernow Model Rail Centre’s (KMRC) 20th anniversary, and the retailer has a series of celebrations planned during the coming months.
This Friday (April 29 2022), KMRC will be holding a double celebration at its Guildford branch in further recognition of the store’s third birthday – having opened the store on May 1 2019.
As well as a selection of special offers to visitors on the day, the event is also expected to generate a brand-new exclusive product announcement and feature sneak previews of yet-to-be-announced releases.
KMRC’s Managing Director Chris Trerise said “As Kernow Model Rail Centre enters its 20th year of business, we felt it would be good to start our celebrations with this event at the Guildford branch that also marks the anniversary of the first expansion of the business which has since expanded even further with the opening of our dedicated mail order warehouse in 2021.” Chris also added: “We will be having further events and special offers throughout the year to mark our 20th anniversary, so keep an eye on our website and social media channels to find out more.”
Chris and KMRC Development Manager Graham Muspratt will be on hand at the store throughout the day, together with members of the Guildford team. Team member Simon Paley will also be signing copies of his recent book Colour Light Signalling for Model Railways.
The event takes place between 9.30am and 5.00pm at the Surrey premises, located at 75b Stoke Road, Guildford GU1 4HT.
