KEY PUBLISHING has partnered with PJM Models to offer a brand-new and exclusive laser-cut diesel depot kit for ‘OO’ gauge. This impressive four-track depot is the centrepiece of our new diesel depot build and comes in two formats: a four-road through depot building and a four-road depot with an office block and stores.
The Option A four-road through depot measures 367mm x 312mm and can accommodate four locomotives inside. It is based on the design at Stratford Depot in East London, but modified to create a through design.
The kit features laser cut walls, ends, roofs and window frames as well as laser cut glazing panels and doors which are designed to fit together easily to create a sturdy structure. We recommend using Deluxe Materials Roket Rapid Superglue for the main assembly and Deluxe Materials Glue n Glaze to fit the windows and frames. Do not use PVA glue or Gorilla Superglue as these glues shrink during curing.
The kit can be assembled as a standalone building or by using optional parts included with the kit it can be built to be joined with Option B or a second Option A kit to create a larger structure.

The second variant offers a four-road diesel depot with an office block at one end and a stores building to one side. This building measures 427mm x 410mm and can accommodate four locomotives inside. It is based on the design at Stratford Depot in East London and includes an office block at the rear (with internal walls and doors) as well as a stores building to one side.
The kit features the same outward design as the through design, but includes an office block for one end of the building as well as a stores building to one side. All parts are laser-cut, including glazing, and the kit can be assembled as a standalone building or by using optional parts included it can be joined with Option A to create a larger structure. The price for this version with the office building is £135.
