An impulse purchase saw MIKE WILD pick up a Kibri kit for a road and rail excavator –a simple and clever kit which builds into an appealing model.

Above: The finished Kibri kit might be to ‘HO’ scale but it doesn’t look out of place alongside ‘OO’ gauge rolling stock. The arm and body are both posable which makes for interesting cameo scenes.
