Kernow Model Rail Centre (KMRC) has revealed a selection of exclusive ‘OO’ gauge models during 20th anniversary celebrations at its Camborne store in Cornwall.
Leading the charge are two exclusive ‘OO’ gauge Bachmann commissions including Class 37 37418 An Comunn Gaidhealach in as-preserved BR large logo blue (Cat No. 35-335Z/ZSF/ZSFX) and Class 47 47484 Isambard Kingdom Brunel in GWR 150th Anniversary (GW150) lined green (35-410Z/ZSF/ZSFX).
Both locomotives use Bachmann’s all-new high fidelity tooling with die-cast chassis, five-pole twin shaft motor, twin flywheels, all-wheel drive, PluX22 Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder sockets and specific detailing for the respective models. Each is available in DCC ready, DCC sound-fitted and DCC sound-fitted deluxe formats, with the latter examples featuring tinted glazing and working roof fans.
Completing the trio of exclusive commissions is a white 1:76 scale Oxford Diecast high-roofed long wheelbase Ford Transit van with Kernow Model Rail Centre branding (SP165). 1,500 of the vans with special KMRC 20 numberplates have been produced.
Prices are set at £239.95 for DCC ready locomotives, £339.95 DCC sound-fitted and £359.95 (Class 37)/£369.95 (Class 47) for DCC sound-fitted deluxe examples. The Oxford Diecast 20th anniversary van is priced at £6.95.
