KR Models Issues GT3 Artwork
KR Models has released livery artwork for its forthcoming ‘OO’ gauge model of English Electric gas turbine prototype GT3.
The unique 4-6-0 was built at English Electric’s Vulcan Foundry in 1961. KR Models’ forthcoming ‘OO’ gauge GT3 will feature a five-pole skew wound motor, locomotive drive and directional lighting, while DCC sound-fitted models will incorporate two speakers and ESU’s latest LokSound 5 decoder.
While the first batch allocation sold out quickly, KR Models is currently considering a second production run for ‘OO’. With prices set at £195 DCC ready and £295 DCC sound fitted, plus shipping, an online registration form is available for expressions of interest.
