LIFECOLOR’S NEW GERMAN AND FRENCH AIRCRAFT SHADES


Italian acrylic specialist Lifecolor has released to useful new six-pot paint sets for aircraft modellers.

LIFECOLOR’S NEW GERMAN AND FRENCH AIRCRAFT SHADES

Lifecolor’s range is ever expanding and currently offers myriad paint packages on many different rhemes. Its latest offerings are for aircraft flown in both world wars.

Set CS56 is Armée de l’air WWII French Aircraft Colors, and this provides six different hues for applying to the likes of the Dewoitine D520, Marcel Bloch MB.152, Curtiss Hawk and others. Six 22ml pots are provided:

•    UA 141 Gris Bleu Clair – standard scheme lower surfaces from 1938
•    UA 142 Kaki Français – standard scheme upper surfaces from 1938
•    UA 143 Brun Foncé – standard scheme upper surfaces from 1938
•    UA 144 Chamois – 1939-45 interior and metal components
•    UA 145 Gris Bleu Foncé – standard scheme upper surfaces from 1938
•    UA 146 Vert Pomme – standard scheme upper surfaces from 1938

LIFECOLOR’S NEW GERMAN AND FRENCH AIRCRAFT SHADES

The second set is CS57 Die Luftstreitkräfte Imperial German Army WWI Colors, suitable for any number of different German World War One types, from Albatros and Fokker variants to the Roland Walfish. The shades in this package are:

•    UA 566 German Pale Blue
•    UA567 German Mauve
•    UA 567 German Red Brown
•    UA 569 German Light Green
•    UA 570 German Dark Green
•    UA 571 German Light Grey Green
