The Guinness World Record for Making Tracks at Model World LIVE on April 27/28 2024 (HM205) seems like just a moment ago, but Pete Waterman and the Railnuts have been busily working to put together a 64ft long scene for the fourth summer-long Making Tracks event in Chester Cathedral.
This year’s Making Tracks 4: Up to the Junction event runs on August 1-31, but far from resting on their laurels, the team has created a plan which uses brand-new sections from the World Record layout built earlier in the year as well as creating another new scene to lead the layout into the storage yard at the north end.
