Modellers who favour 1/35 scale should be interested in the splendid items just released by the Polish manufacturer.
Master Model is a wizard at providing more refinement for all manner of modellers. Those with a taste for 1/35 armour build, though, can benefit from the firm’s latest releases designed for Allied and German World War Two armour. The items are:
GM-35-038 M3 Lee/Grant 75mm M2 L/31 (short) and 37mm M6 Gun Barrels (£10.50, above)
This set is designed for the I Love Kit model, and offers both gun barrels in turned aluminium, with a turned brass collar and two small photo-etched brass details.
GM-35-039 M18 Hellcat 76.2mm M1A1 Gun Barrel (£7.20, above)
Tamiya’s kit is the recipient of this single-piece turned aluminium gun barrel, which replaces the kit part 42, plugging straight into the mantlet boot.
GM-35-040 Tiger I 88mm KwK36 L/56 Gun Barrel Early Muzzle Brake (£9.20, above)
No specific kit is nominated but regardless, this is a quality addition, which comprises an aluminium barrel, turned brass collar and faithfully produced resin muzzle brake.
GM-35-041 Tiger I 88mm KwK36 L/56 Gun Barrel Late Muzzle Brake (£9.20, above)
This offers the same metal items as stated above, but with the late muzzle brake in resin. Again, no specific kit is suggested, making it hugely versatile.
GM-35-042 German WWII Folding 2m Rod Antenna for early Pz.Kpfw. II-IV (£4.80, above)
Anyone building the Panzer II or IV can employ this useful set, which is formed from both hollow brass and cast resin. The aerial is extremely fine and therefore delicate as it reduces in thickness. Go carefully when removing it from the bag, as the tip bends easily (but can be straightened by gentle rolling).
GM-35-043 German 2m Rod Antenna for Fu 5 Radio Set (£4.80, above)
Applicable for various German tanks, such as the Panther, this package provides early and late antenna mounts (plus locking collars) in resin, with a hollow brass antenna.
GM-35-044 German WWII 1.4m Rod Antenna for Fu 7 Radio Set (£4.80, above)
Suitable for any 1/35 command (Befehlswagen) tank, Master’s product comprises the main antenna in hollow brass and the mounts (early and late supplied) in resin.
GM-35-045 German 1.8m Star Antenna for Command Tanks (£5.80, above)
Tricky to scratch-build, ‘star’ aerials are vital for command tanks. Make life much easier with Master’s set, which has the star portion in photo-etched brass, and the main aerial in hollow brass. Early and late mounts in resin are present too.
GM-35-046 Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf.A-F, 2cm KwK30 L/55 and MG 34 Gun Barrels (£8.60, above)
The detail of these parts is jaw-dropping. Here, Master provides the barrel of the 2cm gun in aluminium (with a resin muzzle), while the machine-gun features a hollow brass barrel and resin cooling jacket. A stunning addition for Panzer II builds.
All these items are top-notch and will help turn your armour build into a class act. They are available from UK importer Hannants.
