MiniArt’s 1/35 Austin Armoured Car Interior Kit is built by Cristian Lupu, who applies an uncommon Austro-Hungarian livery.
During the rise of protected battlefield vehicles in the early 20th century, tanks were the undisputed novelty, but other types – such as armoured cars – were entering the action. A lightly protected version produced by Austin was among them – this was based on a civilian vehicle, but was improved using the knowledge gained from early prototypes and several versions known as ‘series’.
