Get to know the colours and markings of the Dassault Mirage F1 with our selected photo focus.

Above: The French Armée de l’Air’s Escadron de Chasse 3/12 ‘Cornouaille’ disbanded in 1995, after 40 years’ service, and to mark the unit’s passing this stunning special livery was applied to F.1C No.10/12-ZD. While this view shows the 1st Escadrille bulldog badge and ‘DOGUES’ title, the starboard fuselage wore the 2nd Escadrille scorpion and corresponding ‘SCORPIONS’ lettering. The badges also featured on the upper wings. (All Key Collection unless stated)
