Having just released 1/48 markings for the Avro Anson, the Lancashire-based firm switches focus to 1/72 with decals for the Aquilon and Sea Fury.

NEW 1/72 AQUILON AND SEA FURY SCHEMES BY MODEL ART

If aircraft from the 1950s-60s demand much of your modelling attention, you should definitely consider Model Art’s latest sheet, 72/085, which offers a generous number of liveries for France’s Sea Venom equivalent – the SNCASE Aquilon Mk.20 – plus Royal Navy two-seat Hawker Fury T.20s.

Six different Aquilons can be represented, in overall Gloss Sea Blue, although one exception also sports Day-Glo outer wing panels, tip tanks and nose panels. Meanwhile, markings for seven Sea Furys are present, all airframes wearing matt aluminium and either yellow or red fuselage bands. The schemes are:
