‘Terrier’ unleashed

Locomotion Models has taken delivery of its exclusive ‘OO’ gauge London Brighton and South Coast Railway (LBSCR) ‘A1’ 0-6-0T 82 Boxhill in Stroudley improved engine green (Cat No. 449540).

Terrier

Built at Brighton Works in 1880, Boxhill is preserved as part of the National Collection and is currently on display at the Railway Museum in York. Produced in partnership with Rails of Sheffield and Dapol, this specially-commissioned ‘OO’ model represents the prototype in preserved form and features a diecast chassis, all-wheel pick-up, factory-fitted speaker, Next 18 Digital Command Control (DCC) decoder socket, firebox flicker, a wealth of separately applied detailing and more.
