BRAND-NEW for 2024, Model World LIVE is brought to you by the organisers of the Great Electric Train Show to bring together railway and scale modellers at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. The event will take place on April 27/28 2024 in Hall 17 and advance tickets are on sale now.
Model World LIVE combines modelling disciplines with the best model railways, the best scale modelling displays, demonstrations, presentations, manufacturer support and traders offering the best in both worlds.
Highlights of the first Model World Live show including more than 35 model railways in scales from ‘N’ to ‘G’ scale, stunning scale modelling displays covering aircraft, military, maritime, auto and figures, skills demonstrations and more.
Trade stands will include everything from the high-end super detailed ready-to-run model railway equipment through plastic kits in all scales to accessories and specialist tools, equipment and glues to make this a one stop shop for modellers of all skill levels.
Model railway features for the launch of the event include a second chance to see all three Making Tracks layouts joined together - and with a new extension to make this amazing award winning layout even bigger - together with layouts travelling from far and wide as well as from the Warley Model Railway Club in Birmingham. There will be modelling displays from the Hornby Magazine, Airfix Model World and Key Model World teams including brand-new 'TT:120' layout Twelvemill Bridge, Natford TMD and the best scale modelling builds including the latest kits from Airfix.

Advance ticket prices are set £16 for adults (£14 for subscribers), £9 for children (Saturday) and £50 for a limited VIP ticket which includes two-day entry to the show, £25 of Key Publishing modelling specials and more. On Sunday up to two children will be admitted free with each paying adult. E-tickets and printed tickets (the latter with a postage charge) are available through the dedicated tickets page below.
On the day prices are £19 for adults and £10 for children.
